The Marco Gonzalez Maya Site was signed into being as a National Park on April 1st, 2011. The Park is under
the direction of National Institute of Culture and History (NICH) and Belize Institute of Archaeology with a
Co-Management Agreement with the Marco Gonzalez Maya Site Ambergris Caye, Ltd. Board of Directors.
